This week during my intramural softball game, I was sprinting to first base and just before I touch base...WHAM!!! This kid on the other team throws a fastball and hits me in the back of my head right behind my ear. I don't know who was more retarded, the guy who threw the ball or the one who could not catch it. They both suck.
The next thing I know my head is spinning out of control and I fall flat on the ground unable to catch myself. (oh except later I realized that I caught myself with my pinky because it swelled up to the size of a fat man's hand and half my hand turned black and blue)
I was lying on the ground for about 5 minutes till I could get up and move to the sideline. The next thing I know the EMT comes complete with their big red truck and flashing lights to come check up on me. Why is it that there is ALWAYS one HOT guy on every paramedic/ambulence/EMT team? The guy asking me questions was ridiculously good-looking... definitely the highlight of the whole situation if there had to be a highlight (although I would rather not have been beaned in the head at all).
Now I can't hear out of my left ear, it constantly rings, and I'm still dizzy three days later. I hope it gets back to normal soon, cuz its really annoying to have to say "What?" all the time.
I do have the greatest friends though. Thanks a lot! I really appreciate all your help!

New Boy in Town
November 25th!!!
This is a Due Date, not a Wedding Date and not MY Due Date (I hope I didn't get everyone's hopes up...i still have a little ways to go...like going on a date for starters or actually finding someone TO date)
My sister is having another baby boy! I am so excited. My other little nephew, Brett, is the cutest kid in the world and so much fun to be around (And I really mean it. He IS the cutest kid in the world. Not just because he is MY nephew, but because he really is cute. I mean, look at this mug)
I can't wait to have another little nephew running around, having fun with, spoiling, etc. And I will soon be TWO kids' favorite aunt. :) Now I need to find a hubby so my sister's kids can have cousins to play with.

Legalized Fireworks Just Got A Little More Fun
Jumping through fireworks isn't exactly the safest thing to do, but its so much fun and looks ridiculously awesome.
Hot air balloon fest.
Watching the hot air balloons was really neat. It would be fun to ride in one, but I am way too afraid of heights to actually do it. Although I really want to go skydiving soon. Hmmmm.... anyone want to go with me?
What fun and/or crazy things did you do for the 4th of July?

Happy 4th of July!
The fourth of July has got to be one of the best holidays ever! It's so much fun to relax, BBQ, and watch the fireworks. I love it! Hope you all have a wonderful 4th!
Thank you to all our forefathers who sacrificed so much for us to be able to celebrate this holiday. Thank you to all the soldiers who continue to fight for our freedom today. I have the highest respect for our military men and women who sacrifice their lives daily to keep us free and protect the rights of the innocent. Thank you to their families, who support them in protecting America.

And then she was...
When my roommate first got home and saw the shopping cart in her room, she was LIVID and ready to kill me. When she saw the pictures of us on her bed from my blog, she acted like she was mad. Deep down you could tell she was turned on though ;)
